A flood watch has been issued for parts of Vancouver Island today. More than 100mm of rain is expected to fall within the next 24 hours. Beware if you live near any of these rivers:

Heber River
Salmon River
Alberni Valley rivers
Tsolum River
Oyster River
Browns River
Nile River
Englishman River
Nanaimo River
Chemainus River
Cowichan River
Koksilah River
