Bob Harper’s Yoga For The Warrior

For most men the consensus is that Yoga is just for girls. They are wrong. I’ve started doing yoga as part of my fitness routine and I have to admit I was a little skeptical at first. I wanted something I could do in my home because I kept making excuses on why I couldn’t make it to the gym that day. Sound familiar? If I had a workout DVD I had to force myself to do something and then I wouldn’t feel guilty if I missed the gym…and since I don’t have any weights at home, I needed something that I could do without having to buy anything extra. After 1 session, I was sold. I man-ed up, went to Lululemon and bought a mat. This Bob Harper DVD cost me $8.00 at Bestbuy and I would have paid double. It has seriously changed my workout. Now, after only a few sessions I’m already noticing a big difference in my flexibility and in the amount I’m able to push myself when I do make it to the gym. Be a man. Do Yoga.

Whether you see someone taking up 3 spots cause they drive a trunk and think they are entitled because their parents didn’t give them enough attention as a child, or some idiot thinks the shopping cart corral is their own royal luxury pad. In one place I lived in I had to do my dishes in the tub for the first 3 months because the landlord wouldn’t come and fix my kitchen sink. This of course was after I had signed the year lease. So sad to hear about Sarah Burke. I’ve been following her progress though the news and was literally shocked to hear about her passing away. She fought so hard to see her sport get the the Olympics and now will never get to compete.

The family of Sarah Burke is struggling to raise more than half a million dollars in medical bills. I’ve donated $10. It’s not much, but if you can help too, we can make a big difference and help a family that has already lost so much.
